The history of "Cosmiata" begins on December 4, 1940. When my great-grandfather Giotto died in World War II…. Giotto was a jeweler by profession. But he ran the family business left by his parents, the bookstore "Cosmiata". He decided to make jewelry and set aside a small corner in the bookstore for a dream come true. As my grandmother told me, very sophisticated and elegant jewelry was created by my great grandfather. Wearing it was a celebration of luxury and self-confidence for women at that time. I was always asked why he created such simple and plain jewelry.
He replied that it is easy to express grace with many decorations and beautiful stones… The most difficult thing is to turn simplicity gracefully… When World War II started Grandpa was called to war. He fought for a long time but unfortunately, on September 1, 1940, he was killed by an enemy bullet… When he died My family heard about it. Unfortunately they made a difficult decision and due to difficulties they sold "Cosmiata"….
After hearing this story, I had a great desire to continue the work started by my great grandfather and rebuild the jewelry store….So, Here we go….! In front of you is "Cosmiata"! jewelry that will make you feel like a sophisticated, powerful, and elegant people.
